Inland Northwest Society for Human Resource Management (INSHRM) is a regional, non-profit association which was founded in October 1939. The purpose of this association is to:
- Develop and maintain the professional competencies of its members
- Raise standards of performance in all phases of human resource management
- Encourage adherence to a professional Code of Ethics and
- Promote excellence in the field of human resource management.
INSHRM was originally chartered in 1949. Today we have nearly 400 members in the Spokane, Washington and Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho area. INSHRM is a member of the Northwest Human Resource Management Association (NHRMA) and is a 100% chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
The mission of INSHRM is to Serve our Professional members by providing comprehensive training, information and resources to our members; to Advance the Human Resources Profession by supporting our community while ensuring HR is an essential and effective partner in developing and executing organizational strategy.
New members are welcome! Our luncheon meetings are generally held the second Tuesday of each month.
