KaLee Quanz, PHR – President
This is KaLee’s fifth year on the board.  She is currently an Associate and Human Resources Director at NAC|Architecture.  She has lived in the Spokane area for 13 years having moved from the Seattle area where she was born and raised.  She has previously held HR positions at Nestle USA, Numerica Credit Union and Inland Northwest Bank.  She earned her PHR in 2002.  She has also volunteered time with the Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery, the American Diabetes Association and Junior Achievement in the Spokane Public Schools.  KaLee enjoys spending her free time with her husband and son at home and her grandchildren in the Spokane Valley.  She is an avid gardener.

Andrea Morgan, PHR - President Elect
This is Andrea’s sixth year serving on the board. She previously served on the Board as the Treasurer in 2011, Foundation Chair during 2010, and Membership Co-Chair for three years from 2006 through 2008. Andrea graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Human Resource Management and Business Management. She received her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification in 2003. Andrea is currently working at Lee & Hayes, PLLC as the Human Resource Manager and Client Development Specialist.

In her spare time Andrea enjoys traveling, playing golf, and spending time with her husband and friends.

Debra McCormick - Past President
Debra served on the INSHRM board for five years in a variety of positions.  She is currently a Human Resource Consultant for Washington State University in the Tri Cities, and has worked in a variety of industries over the course of twenty years as a Human Resource professional. She received her PHR in 1996. Debra has volunteered time with Project Beauty Share and Safety Net, and spends her free time boating, camping and hiking with her husband.

Spring Tudich, PHR – Treasurer
This is Spring’s first year serving on the INSHRM board. She has been employed at Purcell Systems for two years as a Compensation/ HR Specialist. With a Bachelor’s degree in General Business Management, major in Human Resources Management, PHR, and an additional 16+years of experience, Spring Tudich is an energetic self-starter with a professional manner and advanced computer skills. She is proficient at handling multiple tasks and prides herself in a high degree of professional integrity and confidentiality. Spring loves to travel, garden and have family gatherings at her home in Cheney, Washington.

Mike Lenker, PHR – Certification Director
This is Mike’s third year serving on the INSHRM Board. He has been employed at the Community Colleges of Spokane for 9+ years as a Human Resources Consultant and recently became the Dean of Enrollment Services at Spokane Community College. Mike obtained his Masters in HR Management from Marymount University in 1995 and earned his PHR in 2002. He has worked in the public and private sector in generalist human resources capacities as well as non-human resources management positions. Outside of work, Mike is very active with his wife and two sons, coaches various sports, and enjoys going to Priest Lake for recreation and relaxation.

Corinda Behler-Howe – College Relations Director
This is Corinda’s first year serving on the board. Corinda is excited to continue creating awareness of the Human Resources profession and helping emerging young professionals with the additional resources needed to become successful in the HR field. She graduated from Washington State University earning a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations and a dual major in Women’s Studies. Corinda is the Branch Manager at Robert Half International, a leading global provider of highly skilled professionals on a temporary and temporary-to-full-time basis. Outside of work, Corinda  and her husband enjoy working out at the YMCA and traveling to the coast. She enjoys spring the most, because that’s when the horse show season starts and that means fun weekends with her family and horse Foxcy.

Katie Vienhage, PHR – Communication Director
This is Katie’s first year serving on the INSHRM board.  She has been employed at Imprezzio for over 5-years and currently holds the position of Director of Human Resources and Accounting.  Katie graduated from Eastern Washington University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Management, majoring in Human Resources, Marketing, and Management.  In 2009 she earned her PHR certification.  Outside of work Katie enjoys dancing, paddle boating, and golf.

Julie Orchard, PHR – Diversity Director
This is Julie’s first year serving on the board. She previously served two years as a Diversity Committee Member under the Diversity Co-Chairs, Yvonne Montoya and Molly Pepper. Julie has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Eastern Washington University and received her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification in 2008.  Julie is currently the Director of Human Resources for a SKILS’KIN, a non-profit agency whose mission is to provide effective supports and services to people with disabilities. Julie has worked at SKILS’KIN for eight years.

In her spare time Julie enjoys her two children Jim (13) and Jessica (10) and her husband Marty.  They enjoy time on the lake or at the ocean.  When at home, Julie enjoys time with her reading group and other close friends.

Carol Hawkins, SPHR – Foundation Director
This is Carol’s first year serving on the INSHRM board. Carol earned her MBA from Eastern Washington University in 2000 and her Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification in 2002. Carol is currently working at Eastern Washington University as the Labor Relations Manager. She has enjoyed a variety of HR positions in the private and public sector but loves the vibrancy of working on a college campus.

In her spare time Carol enjoys rock climbing, sailing and hanging out with family and friends.

Teresa Bergan - Legislative Director
This is Teresa’s second year serving on the INSHRM Board as the legislative chair.  She has been employed at Haskins Steel Company, Inc. for 6 years as a Human Resources Specialist.  Teresa Bergan is currently working on her Bachelors in Business Administration at Ashford University. She had worked for twenty years in the information technology and communication fields in the United States Navy and is now a retired sailor. Teresa is involved in the local community activities such as Bloomsday and the Susan Korman Race for the Cure with her husband and three sons.

Mary Plummer, PHR - Membership Co-Director
Mary is serving again on the INSHRM Board of Directors, as the Membership Co-Director for 2012.  In 2010, she was one of INSHRM’s scholarship recipients and acquired her PHR certification. Mary’s professional background includes working for staffing firms as an office manager and professional placement recruiter.  She was also the Corporate Recruiter for Telect, Inc. and Integrus Architecture.  Mary is a Senior Professional Search Recruiter for Volt Professional Search and focuses on Engineering, Manufacturing, and Technical Sales positions throughout the US.

Mary also enjoys networking, playing golf, gardening, skiing, traveling, keeping a regular fitness routine and most of all—spending time with loved ones and friends.

Kristina Riener - Membership Co-Director
This is Kristina’s second year serving on the INSHRM Board as Membership Director. Kristina has been employed at University of Phoenix for 3 years as an Workforce Solutions Implementation & Strategy Manager.  Prior to joining UOPX  Kristina worked in National Account positions at several companies, including Volt Services Group, and CorVel Corporation. Kristina has a Bachelor’s degree in Business with a concentration in Marketing from California State University of San Bernardino. Outside of work Kristina enjoys networking, traveling, cooking and spending time with her husband and daughter.

Juanita Gray, PHR – Programs Co-Director
This is Juanita’s third year serving on the board.  She is a graduate from Eastern Washington University earning a BA, majoring in Human Resource Management and a minor in Communications.  (Go Eags, National Champs!)  She obtained her PHR in 2010.  Juanita works at Career Path Services as their HR Manager.  Career Path Services is a no-fee workforce development organization.  She is proud to work amongst such great co-workers and for an organization that was awarded the 2011 Alfred P. Sloan Award for Workplace Flexibility and placed 2nd for non profits in the 100 Best Companies To Work For by Seattle Business Magazine.

Breah Niemiec, PHR – Programs Co-Director
This is Breah’s third year serving on the board in the Program’s Co-Director position. She is a graduate of Gonzaga University (2003) earning a BA, majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management and Operations Management. She obtained her PHR in 2007. Breah works at Northwest Farm Credit Services as their Employment and Recruiting Specialist. Prior to joining Northwest Farm Credit Services she had experience working with large companies such as CVS Caremark and Marcolin USA primarily handling recruitment and employee relations. Breah enjoys working on the INSHRM board and providing members with educational opportunities. Hobbies include running, hiking, golfing and spending time with family and friends.

Krystal Siegfried, PHR
– Secretary/Historian
Krystal Siegfried, PHR- Secretary/Historian Krystal stepped onto the board mid-year 2011 as Secretary and is excited to continue serving again for 2012. Krystal currently works as an HR Generalist at Wagstaff, a local manufacturing company. Krystal has her B.A. in Business Management with an emphasis in Human Resources Management followed by an M.B.A. from Eastern Washington University. She earned her PHR in June 2010. Outside of the INSHRM Board and work, Krystal enjoys spending time with her husband, family and pets. Hobbies include reading, snowboarding, exercising and spending time at the family cabin in the summers.

Shannon Pottratz, SPHR – Technology Director
This is Shannon’s fourth year serving on the INSHRM Board.  She served on the Board as the Certification Chair in 2009, Treasurer in 2010, and Technology Co-Chair in 2011. Shannon is currently the Finance & Operations Director of Webfront Stores, LLC.  Shannon graduated from Eastern Washington University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration (HR management and general management majors), and obtained her Master of Science in Organizational Development (with an emphasis in HR) in 2005.  She earned her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification in 2005, and her Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) in 2007.  Shannon’s background includes both public and private sector employment, as well as generalist and specialist HR responsibilities. Shannon is very excited to be serving on the Board again in order to help INSHRM continue in its efforts to provide resources to the local HR community.

Outside of work, Shannon enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, and other family and friends.  She loves to hike, bike, backpack, read, and travel.

Josh Seitz, PHR - School-To-Work/Workforce Readiness Director
This is Josh’s first year serving on the INSHRM Board. He is currently employed by Horizon Credit Union and has over 12 years human resource experience. Josh obtained his PHR in 2006 and graduated from Ashford University with his MBA in 2010. He has worked in government, non-profit, and private sectors in various human resource capacities. Josh enjoys spending time with family, friends, and his two dogs (German Sheppard and Black Lab). He spends his free time on the lake boating or jet skiing during the summer and enjoys traveling to warm weather during the winter.
