Rising Rivers Sometime Change Course –

The Impact Social Media Is Having On How We Communicate

Presenter: Will Ludlam

Pre-approved for for 1.0 Recertification Credit!

Date:  Tuesday, February 9

Time:  Check-In begins at 11:00 a.m., announcements/program begin at 11:30 a.m.

Location:  Red Lion River Inn, 700 N. Division, Spokane

Program Overview:

The communications world is already digital – people are online no matter when, where or how. What companies do and say online is having a profound effect on their reputation and brand. Right now, communities are communicating with businesses through consumer-generated or "social" media, further driving the transition to a digital world.

What does this rapidly changing digital environment mean for your company and the HR professional?  Will Ludlam will explore the astounding growth and demographics of the digital consumer and why this information is important to you.  Smart companies are already shifting their marketing focus to reflect changing media consumption habits. Others are playing digital catch up in order to remain relevant and competitive. Either way, companies need to know how to strategically harness the power of social media to drive engagement and build strong relationships with all audiences – and all this in a way that is open, honest and genuine.

During the presentation Will shares key insights into how the digital revolution and social media are reshaping how we communicate.  He gives several examples and walks the audience through ways in which they can benefit from applying social media professionally.
