Ms. Kamel received her undergraduate degree from the University of California Irvine and her law degree, cum laude, from Gonzaga University.  While at Gonzaga University, she was the Social Chair for the Gonzaga Law Review.  She also served as an extern for the United States District Court Judge Robert Whaley for the Eastern District of Washington.  Ms. Kamel sits on the executive committee for the Labor and Employment Group of the Washington State Bar Association. Gonzaga's Leadership Connection Event - Register Now! (7:30 AM - 8:45 AM)

Leadership Connection Event on April 29th:

“Recruiting and Retaining High Performance Talent: The Key to Organizational Success”

Featuring:  Sarah Armstrong and Kat Drum
Location: Doubletree Hotel – Spokane Convention Center
Time: 7:30-8:45am, with breakfast available at 7:15am
Price: $25 or $9 with valid student ID

This session is about supervising and retaining employees and remaining employable. This is not solely about recruiting.

The answer to sustained organizational effectiveness in any industry is not just image or technology. The main ingredient is talent. The ability for an organization to recruit, retain and develop talent, particularly at the leadership level is crucial to success.

This session will feature an opportunity to help you better understand how high performing companies like Starbucks, Microsoft and others win the talent game. Issues facing organizations like generational differences, how to decide whether to “make” or “buy” talent, and winning recruiting and retention “wars” through a blend of a growth oriented culture and soft benefits will be explored.

Leadership Connection is a non-profit endeavor to provide convenient and affordable leadership development programs for the Spokane community, brought to you by these partners:  Leadership Spokane, Whitworth Adult Degree Program, & Gonzaga University Organizational Leadership.
