Monthly INSHRM Luncheon
Speaker: Jason Swain
Anymore, it seems uncertainty is the only thing to be sure of. We are all dealing with an unprecedented amount of change in our personal and professional lives - and the trend will only continue. Understanding change from a personal perspective builds a foundation for managing change in broader contexts. This workshop is aimed at helping participants understand how change occurs for individuals and for organizations, identify attitudes and skills needed to manage change in a positive way and develop strategies for dealing with change in our personal and professional lives.
3 specific learning objectives:
- Understand the difference between “change” and “transition”
- Learn the three phases of transition – endings, neutral zone and new beginnings
- Create strategies to help you effectively manage transitions in your own life as well as to lead others through transitions
