  • Effectively set expectations
  • Coach employees to develop in a manner that is mutually beneficial for them and for the organization
  • Help high performers to become even better at what they do
  • Give positive feedback that strengthens performance
  • Strategically overcome performance problems
  • Engage in difficult employee conversations

How do you get peak performers to maintain a high level of productivity? Or get those who don't always do what you want them to do to alter their behavior for the better? Performance management doesn't start with the identification of a problem. Nor is it effective when conversations only occur at annual performance appraisal meetings. It's a process that integrates hiring the right people with ongoing expectation management, effective coaching and helpful performance feedback.

Whether you are a supervisor, manager, executive or project team leader, you realize that a key contributor to organizational success is how well works gets done through others. Thus, it's imperative that you engage in leadership behaviors that fosters the development of those around you and helps them to perform at optimum levels—instead of viewing employee performance management as a necessary evil.

Who Should Attend
This workshop is intended for individuals who supervise, manage, and/or lead work groups, departments, business units, organizations or project teams or who are in a staff professional role. Some supervisory or team leader experience is required.
