SHRM Washington State Council and Association of Washington Business are pleased to present “2010 HR Day on the Hill.”
Please plan to attend this all day event scheduled February 10, 2010 at the Association of Washington Business office in Olympia.
Legislative session begins January 11, 2010 for a short 60-day session. A lot can happen! You won’t want to miss it!
This event is presented to assist HR Professionals in understanding the political process and get up to date information on key legislative issues currently being proposed and voted on in the 2010 legislative session. More information will be released as the Legislative session begins and bills are proposed. Due to the SHORT session this year (60 days) and the current economic environment the current focus will include: Immigration Reform, Unionization & Collective Bargaining, Workers’ Compensation Reform, and Wage & Hour Reform.
